The Role:

The Manager of Creative Services will report to the Chief Creative Officer.  This position will work closely with the Director of Experience Strategy, the Global Marketing & Communications Directors and Master Planning Team to collaborate on strategic experience and large-scale capital projects, from inception to implementation. 

Based on the guiding principles of the research-driven Experience Strategy that is developed for each project, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the appropriate creative outputs - from concept to production. You will develop and continually evolve end-to-end creative including products, services and guest experiences (brand and design touchpoints) for a range of businesses including corporate dining, major league sports, entertainment venues, cultural institutions, convention centers, restaurants, and retail. 

You will be empowered to develop ideas and coordinate with a variety of department executives to ensure the vision of the Experience Strategy is achieved. You will share-out design concepts and creative content to internal project team members, and final work product with clients, managing a team of creative professionals, including: architects, interior designers, graphic designers, stylists and other design resources, to meet project goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and direct a practice for developing creative outputs for all prioritized projects.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all contributors to the process, including internal departments and external stakeholders through facilitated work sessions, design charrettes and other inspired collaborations to meet project goals.
  • Direct as well as produce creative outputs such as concepts (with written and visual support), branding, experiential touchpoints and design briefs to direct external resources.
  • Develop and deliver best-in-class presentations of creative work product with an openness to client feedback and revisions.
  • Continually build a database of external design partners. 
  • Create an ever-evolving portfolio of concepts to be a pipeline for future projects.

Education and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree holder or other master’s degree preferred
  • 5 + years of experience working in an agency or start-up with similar creative, fast-paced environment
  • Concepting expertise for a range of experiences
  • Design exposure including architecture, interiors, branding, environmental design, graphics
  • Account management and strong relationship skills
  • Facilitation and executive level presentation experience
  • Hospitality experience preferred
