Senior Analyst, Strategy Consulting

E15 is looking for a highly skilled and motivated senior analyst committed to delivering its core business with strategic planning. For this role, you will apply deep strategy skills to identify and deliver value to clients. You will develop analysis by understanding clients’ industry landscape, functional disciplines, and business options in the context of global, economic, technology, social, and experiential trends. You will take an active role in the analysis of client business models and financials to develop client strategies. You will also participate and own the socialization of insights to clients. In addition to developing analysis for client leaders and teams, you will lead, coach, and guide junior members.

To be successful in this role, you must have 2+ years of experience successfully developing and delivering on client strategies. This role also requires you to “get into the weeds” and have a desire to learn, adapt, problem-solve and communicate at a very high level. You are energized by solving difficult problems, conducting innovative financial analysis, and have a desire to lead the implementation of solutions. You are passionate about working in sports, entertainment, hospitality, and food as well as working with ambiguity to scale a growing strategic planning business line.

This job is located in Chicago but is required to spend up to 25% time on the road.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Business Strategy & Financials

  • Lead and improve client facing strategic planning process and framework

  • Prepare financial analyses for clients’ capital investment and growth

  • Promote the use of data and analytics to address business issues, including scoping projects, story-telling to stakeholder groups, brainstorming data-driven solutions, and incorporating structured and analytical thinking into business decisions

  • Decompose complex business, experiential, and operational challenges into a clearly communicated approach

  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems related to client business, experiential, and operational challenges

  • Quickly translate information into insights that drive client strategy

  • Provide innovative solutions and strategies for addressing client business, experiential, and operational challenges

  • Apply subject matter expertise of client business models to create and communicate analyses

  • Identify KPIs to assess performance, operational effectiveness, and ROI of strategic projects

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management

·         Manage small to medium sized teams and/or work efforts on a client and/or internal project

·         Lead and coordinate projects with cross-functional stakeholders including Artificial Intelligence, Consumer Insights, Design & Construction, Operations, Partner Strategy, Client Stakeholders, and Internal Executives

·         Interact with client senior management and/or E15/Levy/Compass senior leadership

·         Proactively communicate project details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner

·         Create client-facing and executive-facing presentations on findings, business impacts, and recommendations

·         Develop strong working relationships with client stakeholders and acquire an intimate knowledge of clients’ strategies and competitive positioning


·         Contribute to internal organizational development and progresses E15/Levy/Compass value proposition

·         Leverage a deep understanding of E15/Levy/Compass’s business lines and competitive factors

·         Develop and communicate thought leadership in client industries, analytics, and food service, helping E15/Levy/Compass understand leading industry trends and ways of working


·         2+ years of relevant work experience

·         Real-world business problem solving

·         Microsoft Office Suite

·         Strong comfort with ambiguity, independence, tenacity, willingness to take on any task

·         Strong comfort with C-level communication and problem solving 

·         Degree in business, economics, or a related field

·         Advanced proficiency in financial modeling

·         Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environment

·         Proven ability to define and execute client strategies

·         Proven ability to execute independently and manage external resources

·         Excellent business analytical capabilities to solve complex client issues

·         Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of an organization

·         Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau) and Microsoft Office/Project

·         Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships (at all levels)

·         Passion for sports, entertainment, hospitality, and food 


  • Top tier strategy and design consulting experience (Big 3, Big 4, etc.)

  • Food, sports, entertainment, and hospitality knowledge/experience
