Manager of Tech Strategy

The Manager of Tech Strategy position is focused on primarily leading the team of Tech Analysts and Product Managers. The Tech Strategy team is responsible for consulting with our Partners and stakeholders to drive tech strategy, road map and standards that drive the business forward and improve fan experience. In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance to executive leadership for E15/Levy on technology advancements and where we should focus our tech efforts to provide a competitive advantage for the organization. This position reports to E15’s Vice President of Technology.

Additionally, this position is responsible for developing and spearheading the following tech pillars:

  • Tech Research & Development
  • Tech Partnerships
  • Implementation of net new technology in venue
  • Accelerator Tech Program

As part of leadership the expectation is also that you professionally develop the members of the Emerging Tech team.

Specific Responsibilities:

Setting tech strategy

  • Collaborate with Levy leadership to prioritize sectors, accounts and tech services.
  • Collaborate with Levy Partners to define technology strategies for fan experience.
  • Develop strategic tech plans, including estimating levels of effort and cost as well as outlining task dependencies and level of risk.
  • Lead research initiatives to identify new tech partnerships and potential technologies
  • Manage relationships with key tech partners and disrupters
  • Develop KPIs and benchmarking methods to assess tech performance across venue types.
  • Develop KPIs and benchmarking methods to assess effectiveness and ROI of strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and develop core tech platforms to deliver to Field Ops.
  • Help to assist in establishing E15/Levy point-of-view on incorporating emerging technologies into enterprise strategies and new business opportunities.
  • Devise and execute experiments to test the benefits of various technologies and products in-venue.

Lead the team

  • Set the vision for personal and professional standards of behavior
  • Review and validate performance analyses that are delivered at relevant points in the season/year.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on tech trends in hospitality to executive stakeholders
  • Provide leadership, support and professional development to team members in both formal and informal settings.

Other various responsibilities as required

·         Participate in various organizational programs and initiatives such as, supporting sales and retention efforts or developing new tech platforms and functionality.


·         Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships

·         Highly developed sense of ownership and responsibility

·         5+ years of experience in technology and innovation preferred

·         Bachelor’s degree in strategy with an emphasis in technology, computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Can share examples of using technology to solve complex problems

·         Fundamental skills preferred : SQL, Tableau, .PPT, Excel, Qualtrics

·         Communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences

Travel Expectation: 20%+
